Evolution of a Mommy Blogger
I suck as a writer. Funny that my job is based on the written word sent out to the world. I stumbled upon my career accidentally. Blissfully Domestic is such a massive success thanks to the staff, the editors and the wonderful writers. My job is simply to provide the platform for them to shine. I am honored to be at the helm.
I've told you before that my personal blog seemed to be stuck, I wasn't happy with what I gave you everyday. I promised more. More Alli. More information. More. You deserve more.
I hear from my close friends online that when others learn they know me personally, they get quizzed. "What is she really like?" I hear this all. the. time. I want to become more available to you.
Claire, of Sharp Wit Designs is redesigning the site, thanks to Green & Clean Mom. I hope to relaunch at the beginning of November. I have big plans. I want to share with you my life, my interests, and my expertise. I know a little something about blogging and social media. I will soon start sharing what I have learned with you, but be warned, I really do suck as a writer. My thoughts will be shared like I have always written Fussypants- quirky and unconventional. ;) I will break up the personal blog entries and the more informative entries into separate feeds, in addition to the one main feed. This way you can subscribe only to the topics that interest you. Sound fun?
Every online expert gives the same advice, "Make your site a niche site. Do not cover too many topics. Stay on message. Have a focus." I need my own niche, I need to go off the rails for a bit. I think it will be very fun.
Tomorrow at 10 pm CST is the deadline to submit a header for the new site redesign. I will display them all Tuesday morning and we will pick our favorites then.
Love you immensely, Alli
PS- All this week I will be preparing to host my first conference here in Nashville. I will supply tons of info during the week and way too many photos of the weekend next week. ;)

I'm really looking forward to your new format. I love quirky and unconventional. That means I love you! In a strictly platonic way, of course.
I so wish I was coming to BlissDom. Next time.

Looking forward to this!
I am at a blogging crossroads myself - time to either ditch it completely - or do it properly! On the cusp of jumping in and doing it right - so I'm on the lookout for all the help I can get :)
