Fussy's Linkapalooza -With Gnashing of Teeth
I lovingly drafted (but forgot to ever save) a Linkapalooza today full of wonderful linky love. I felt the warm hug of sending love all over the blogosphere.
Then my laptop, already gasping for life, overheated and froze. I lost my whole post. This is where you can insert much gnashing of teeth and using language inappropriate for a lady.
Maybe you, Beloved Friend of Fussy, could take that in stride and start over. Me? Not so much. I'm hormonal don't cha know?
So forgive the lack of linkies this Sunday. If you are really bored and would love to see things I have loved & bookmarked you can click here.
Maybe you'll forgive the lack of linkies in exchange for a belly shot? You will? Great!
Gasp! OMGoodness. I know you've never seen such a ginormous belly! My OB measured my belly this week and proclaimed that he will be over 9lbs. Good thing I'm being induced at week 39. Should I live-blog it? Tweet it? Do hospitals have wi-fi?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyhoo, enough about me...
"It was then she decided that it was a bad day to go "sassy & pantyless". -Sadie
Congrats, Hawt mamma! Be sure to send me your address and you favorite Fussy earrings!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remember to keep it short & keep it clean if you want to be in the finalists on Tuesday. And yes, you can leave multiple entries. Reading the entries is the most fun I have all week!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey you! Yep, I'm talkin' to you. Thanks for being such a wonderful Friend of Fussy and being part of this silly blog for another week. There are only two gazillion other sites that you could be reading, and I am so grateful that you are here.
Love, Fussy
Sandy thought it was a bad sign when her date showed up in heels, a tu-tu and machine gun. But just turning 38, she figured her choices were slim and she went along with it.
You're Carrie Bradshaw for Halloween? Darn it, me too!
You look great, and cute. I had a c-section at 39 weeks because my boy was getting too big and I wasn't a good candidate for inducement (meaning, NOTHING was happening AT ALL and my blood pressure was creeping up). He was 9lb, 8oz.
If he had stayed in there for 3 more weeks like he wanted to...oy.
Posted by: Katie | April 27, 2008 at 11:16 PM
Oh. Wow. What a picture! Where do you find these by the way? Anyways, the only thing I could think of was:
You think you wanna hit on my girl? Or me?
Oh, Fussy! You look absolutely adorable! I swear you are the cutest little thing this side of the moon! Yes, I did say little - you're just all belly :o) Teeny everywhere else! I could go on & on how sweet you look.
You should totally have someone do photography of the birth. If I lived anywhere near you, I'd totally do it in a heartbeat! I did it for one of my best friends less than a month ago, and it was amazing. It was great for her & her family too, because they didn't have to worry about having missed picture opportunities.
My love and prayers are with you as always, dear lady. I truly get such a kick out of your website each and every day! Sorry I didn't participate in Fighting the Frump this past Friday... I was desperately trying to catch up on the many things I let go during Livia's birthday, the party, and other busy-ness of the week. Much love to you & yours, take care and God Bless!
you look beautiful!!
Posted by: Heather | April 28, 2008 at 04:50 AM
Fussy, do you walk around your house looking all pulled together like that all the time?
I'm not 12 months pregnant and my hair hasn't looked that well-groomed in months. And that's make-up, right? Man.
You take "Fight the Frump" very seriously. I'm rethinking whether or not we can be friends.
Caption #1 - Jen couldn't help but wonder if her new friend "Bobbie" had lied to her about really being a man.
Caption #2 - Jeff knew he shouldn't have made that drunken bet with the guys.
And Fussy, you look fantabulous dear!
Fussy, you're just as cute as a button! My first was 9 lbs 4 oz. I missed the belly after he was born. It was great for propping up a bowl of ice cream and a cold drink.
Posted by: Gina | April 28, 2008 at 08:32 AM
Don't worry, Fussy! My 3rd (I have four kids total, not including the furry ones) weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz.--and he was my easiest birth of all! The nurse kept saying, "Don't Push!" And I kept saying, "are you kidding? This kid is coming on his own!"
You carry 'pretty' by the way. I carried all around and looked like a barrel, being on five foot two.
Fussy,
Shouldn't Jr. be standing on his head by now? I'm just sayin' - otherwise you have other issues, like a potential bum first birth.
You look mahvahlous dahling!
First off~ totally fab top. You are fighting the frump even preggers to your eyeballs. Second off~ the baby looks totally normal size to me. You are obviously just a tiny petite little thing normally. ;-) We have big babies in my family. My sister's daughter was 9lb2oz. and her son 11lb6oz (she actually set a record at that hospital for natural). My monkey was 9lb3oz at 39 weeks. And that folks is why she is an only child.
You are so cute and not ginormous at all, you look just right! You should totally tweet the birth - lots of hospitals have wi-fi now.
You are definitely having a boy. Only a boy does THAT to you belly (LOL).
I hate it when I lose a post, the puter freezes and then shoots out steam (out of my ears that is).
Congrats Hawt mama!!!! You lucky duck. Wear those jewels with pride!
